Sock Bun-Ich liebe dich

Yup, I love my new sock bun. Made it out of a sock... Wanna make your own sock bun? Here's the tutorial. Found this on Pinterest (you never would have guessed, right??) Well, this no heat technique seemed like a real winner in my book given my busy schedule and it was! Here is the picture after about two minutes of minor tweaks...

And yes, that's the back of my office with a non-functional super awesome hood.

Next time, I will likely add a little bit of light mousse to my hair, as I'm sure these will all have fallen out by the end of the night (it's my hair, not the method), but I'm pleased with the results!

Time...
to make sock bun: 2 minutes (a minute and a half of that was choosing which sock would no longer perform its original intended function).
to roll hair: 2 minutes
for hair to set: over night
fixing hair after being removed: 2 minutes

Overall, this took me about 6 minutes of active time and I'm thrilled with the results!
