Time to Be Awesome

Happy Monday! I very much dislike the Monday after a long weekend (aka 1 week from the Monday we had off) because I feel like I need another day in my weekend. Why is there not another day in my weekend?!?! I'm behind on my to-do list and that is oh-so frustrating, but it's a new week and I'm leaving for Florida on Wednesday for a friend's wedding!! Woo hoo! Although with my job, this mini-vacation is not coming at a great time. But forget about that! We need some motivation to get us through this week, right?? Well, who better for it to come from than the strangely reformed ladies' man known as Barney Stinson?

I guess I could say, when I feel overwhelmed, I stop being overwhelmed and be awesome instead... Would that work?? Well, I'm gonna try it!

Speaking of being behind on things, I promised a post on why I feel 80 million times better without gluten in my diet and a recap on the wonderful weekend that was Barrett-Jackson and I will not disappoint. These posts have been moved to this week and you will also see my new website very soon. Yes, unfortunately, I'm not 100% finished yet because, you know, life has a funny way of getting in the way, but it's actually almost done and I'm super stoked!

How are you going to be awesome this week?

  1. We just did our taxes and I thought I was going to have to pay in... instead I'm getting over a grand. And yet I'm STILL stressed about money. How is that possible?

I feel like we could ALL learn a thing or two from Barney, lol.

  2. I am looking forward to reading how a gluten free diet has worked for you. Last year around this time I learned I have an intolerance to gluten and dairy. I have gone back and forth with both but have made more of an effort since I got sick 2 weeks ago to stay away from both. And I do feel much better. Mind is clearer, Eyes aren't as blurry. Why did you stop eating gluten?

Lately I have been in the mood to cook & bake and have had a lot of fun finding ways to do both that do not include dairy or gluten. It's like a fan challenge.
