Transitioning in to My Big Girl Panties

I haven't talked about my shoppe on here in a while and, while I normally like to stay away from shameless self-promotion, I'm going to go for it today because I've got some exciting news and there will be some changes made to the blog to accommodate my new drive for my business. Yes, I'm finally deciding it's time to put on my big girl panties (you know, like the ones they buy on Double Divas) and put myself out there as a jewelry designer. You'll never get anywhere unless you DO something, so we'll start with the shameless-ness and move on to the news for this here blog...

About a month ago, I added some new natural stone pieces to the website and I'm happy to say that these puppies have brought in my first online sale!

Someone apparently likes me enough to buy one in every color... woo hoo!!! Let me tell you, Sunday was fantastic this week!

Okay, so now that the "I'm awesome" portion of this post is over, let's talk about what my new mentality means for this here bloggity-blog. Well, I guess it's not as significant as I made it out to be. I am going to maintain my "lifestyle of a broke pseudo-working girl" attitude. About the only thing that will change is the main header way up there. Starting next Monday (hopefully), I'll have a full website with a bunch of extra features in addition to this here little blog!

By the way, did anyone else remember that this fulfills #1 on my 24 in 24 list? Well I did. Pretty stoked!
